UX/UI Web Design
Make your website stand out from the crowd
There are well over 1 billion websites in the world. So it's important that your website stands out from the crowd. That's where good website design comes in.
Your website has to look good, but there's a lot more to it than that. Every Web Design project I do starts with understanding your target audience, and the purpose of your website.
I take great care to make sure your site looks great, but also functions well and is fit for purpose. All my designs are carefully designed in photoshop, ready to be coded by me or another developer.

Some of my Web Design Projects
UX/UI website design
Research + wireframes
The first step on any project is research. I thoroughly research your industry, your competitors and your specific requirements. On more complicated projects, detailed wireframes are created to ensure that the overal layout is set before we concentrate on styling. I work closely with you to create wireframes for the key pages, ensuring that the information hierarchy is correct, and the emphasis is being placed correctly.
Once I full understand your requirements, the design of your homepage is created in Photoshop. This design will include global element such as the header, footer, button styles, fonts and font sizes, etc. This is a key part of the design process, as it will set the styling for the inner pages. I work very closely with you to ensure you're 100% happy with the design before we look at any other pages.
Inner page designs
Once the homepage has been compelted and signed off, I then concentrate on designing all the key internal pages of your website. The inner pages may include about us, contact us and various other layouts that may require specific designs created. As with the homepage, all the designs are sent to you for approval, with revisions being made as requested.
Style guide design
All remaining pages will fall under the style guide. A style guide is a single design, which shows all the key elements to be used on the website, such as buttons, sliders, galleries, forms, headings and specific widget elements. This guide helps us to save time, as generic pages are not designed fully, but rather will be coded directly with the style guide as the basis.
Responsive design variations
The final step in the design process is to create responsive design variations. This includes designing tablet and phone designs, simplifying the layouts to better fit the screen sizes. Once the designs are finished, all the photoshop files are tidied up, with named layers and easy to understand folder structures, and then sent for Wordpress website development.
